Anyone connected to the disaster that is the Wizards organization has no business in the NBA, much less helping to run another team.
Leave it to the Pelicans being the 2nd worst franchise to hire guys from the actual worst run franchise and expect anything other than disaster.

Weaver is a bigger disaster than Dumars, but people will not acknowledge it. He is the reason Dumars made one of the stupidest trades in sports history, but he somehow gets no blame.
Weaver has been behind the Queen trade and the Poole trade. By all accounts Dumars barely had anything to do with it.
Weaver is the real GM that’s making trades and drafting players. Dumars is the mouthpiece and connection to ownership.
Which is a terrible look on Dumars. Do your actual job and build the team how you see fit. Don’t let your buddy Weaver build a shitty team for you while you take on the blame. That just makes you look like a gigantic pussy

quote:Yeah, as mentioned, this is likely agents putting this out. I think Dumars already said that Borrego will finish the season. If so, there is no way they are getting serious about any candidates yet.
All this outrage for a bunch of rumors for a job that won't be available for another 5-6 months.

JB is definitely finishing the season, but if he doesn’t work out and they plan to look elsewhere these are names popping up.
A few writers believe Malone and Jenkins aren’t even options due to price tag and they would want a better ran team

They are going to suk as long Benson/Dumars are here. The Saints are gonna suk as long as Mickey/Benson are here-One game means little

I kind of feel like this is a monumentally crucial hire for the Pelicans next head coach. They can not afford to screw this up or they may lose what dwindling fan support there is left.
This team doesn't and will never have the loyalty from fans that the Saints have (Yes I know that's being stretched thin as well but Saints fans will bitch and watch the team at the same time.) Get this wrong and the SKC could like like a ghost town or a home court advantage to all visiting teams.

Jake Fischer’s latest article mentions Jamahl Mosely as another candidate if Orlando were ti fire him.
