Klay is a 4x NBA champion and a 5x All Star. CJ isn’t close to his level

In the past yes you’re right. Currently, CJ is a LOT better than Klay and its not even close.

Look, I love CJ but the reality is while he's been a good regular season player his production has always dipped in the playoffs, even going back to Portland.

I would trade CJ for Klay straight up right now. At least Klay gives you SOMETHING on defense when his shot is off. It sucks we’re stuck with CJ for two more years!

His defense has not been remotely great or good since he got injured. He scored 0 points last night in an elimination game against crappy defense of kings. You guys really need to watch basketball outside the pelicans.

He singlehandly beat the nuggets in the second round to get to west conf finals. Again this is such an untrue statement.

Don't remember that but I remember him not playing well against us in that 4 game sweep and not playing well for us in the Phoenix series.

Because you only watch basketball related to pelicans. Which again I say watch basketball outside the pelicans before making statements like these.

Well, I've seen him play in two playoff series and the dropoff between the regular season and playoffs for him in both was significant.

Again both those series were pelicans related. CJ has averaged over 20 points in the playoffs and been overall very good. But yes he didn’t have a great series against the pelicans or with the pelicans. But 2 bad playoff years out of 8 shouldn’t be defined as hes bad in playoffs.

He averaged 25.3 points on 52/42/78 and was the only positive for Portland in that series against the Pelicans. What the frick are you talking about
