Zion aside, I said a while back that there's no freakin way his family is happy living in NOLA

No one said they had to move with him, but I guess they’re used to someone else paying the bills since they moved to Durham during his 8 months there.

Tanking your career because you dont like the city is certainly a choice.

I wouldn’t want to live in Nola. I think Zion is a good kid and probably truly doesn’t want to live out here and don’t blame him, neither did Sean Payton.

Just like every superstar, or even all star level player that we’ve had in Nola…none of them WANT to live in this city.

The modern player’s priorities are Money > Fame > Houses > Cars > maybe Rap career or just live as showy as possible. In New York, California, and maybe a few want to live in Miami because latinas and Miami beaches.

It’s just the way it is and the way it will always be.

Trade zion for somebody else and give someone new a shot. Zion isn’t going to ever be a Nola guy.

Eta: And it isn’t specifically anything to do with Nola, these kids don’t want to live anywhere that isn’t California, New York, or Miami.. unless there is a hall of fame coach there that’s already winning championships ala Popovich in San Antonio or somewhere like that where the player can grab a ring or two.
