Noel is a 5. Davis is a 4. They pair better than two on-ball guards.
Right now Noel is a 5 with a 4's body. You're stick waiting a few years hoping he can fill out and be on the court at the same time as Davis.
Davis does everything Noel does except he can score. There's a reason Noel continued to fall while 2 centers were picked ahead of him.

Noel/Davis would have brought excitement
Holiday and everyone is like oh, that's cool I guess.

We will be rebuilding again by the end of Jrue's deal
How is that? Major improvement at the pg spot. First year to second year improvement of Davis, who actually is a franchise player. An apparently excited to be here Gordon. You can find cheap guys at sf who can shoot and defend, and just about anything will be better than Aminu.
Crunch time lineup of Davis, Anderson, Gordon, Holiday, and whatever sf they get is a pretty good group. And these guys are young, so why would they be rebuilding?

I agree with this. I didn't really want Noel, but Burke, CJ, or McLemore would all have been nice prices, cheaper, and we would still have space to continue the build.
Jrue doesn't fix our problems at 3, but Burke fixed our problems at 1.

Jrue/Davis will bring excitement. Now you actually have a point guard who can push the tempo and get Davis some transition buckets.

If we could add another impact FA I like it

But you have to compare this trade, not just to Noel, but also Burke, CJ, and McLemore.
So you're pretty confident that Burke, CJ, or McLemore will be an All Star by their 3rd year in the league?

Burke couldn't do that?
With Burke, you still have next year's 1 and cap space. We could have added Marion who comes off the books and added another young piece at 13.

Only people who haven't watched him play and don't know anything about basketball would think this. Holiday is one of the most exciting fast break pg's in the league, and you pair him with Davis, and shooters like Anderson and Gordon. Some of you should watch more games before b!tching about stuff.

I hate having allstars on my team. This sucks
Tards be tards. BTW, it will truly suck to have a proven All-Star have the ball late in the games.

We'd have to wait years to have a good davis/noel.... FRICK all that. I want to be good ASAP always

This guy gets it. You had a future allstar in Mclemore fall in your lap and you trade that and a lotto pick in a good 2014 draft for a good PG.
If you wanted a PG that bad, draft Burke, go get a FA SF and draft another good ball player next year. But we'll see.
Good luck.

My point is that Burke addresses the 1 while still giving us the ability to address the 3 spot later this year or next year. Adding Jrue limits our flexibility.

In 3-4 years you'll have the same pieces and only Davis will be majorly improved.
The rest are pretty much what they are.

Burke fixes nothing. Jrue is an all star, Burke is more likely to be a fringe starter.
Holiday was the best PG to come out of this draft.

Some scouts aren't even convinced Burke is a legit starter. More of a third guard type. I think he will be good, and Utah is a good place for him, but Holiday is a proven guy.
