I'm definitely the opposite. I think there will be at least 12 really solid nba players in this draft.

You also thought Anthony Bennett was going to be a beast

A lot of people were all over Bennett. And McClemore. And CJ McCollum. And Dennis Schroeder

No one here wanted guys like MCW, Oladipo, and Antetokounmpo for the most part. Too raw, can't shoot, whatever.

It's dumb to even say a rookie is a bust or to say we are better off with Holiday because Noel might suck or whoever the 6ers will suck. That was a move we will be able to judge in a few years.

shite everyone was saying how top heavy AD's class was last year when him, Lillard, Beal and Dion Waiters were the only ones doing anything rookies. Now, as time moves we see guys become starters or major contributors to their teams.. such as:

Drummond
Big Jonas
Sullinger
Wroten
Henson
T Ross
Patrick Beverly
Kendall Marshall
Evan Fournier
Draymond Green
J Lamb
Mike Scott
Mirza Teletovic

Not to mention guys like MKG, Harrison Barnes, and Mo Harkless who proved they could play in the league and were major contributors as rookies.

Of course we as Pels fans want to say "this draft will suck" or "Noel sucks".. a lot remains to be seen

Hey, I admit, I was all over McCollum before the draft. I was obviously wrong.

I see you left Austin Rivers off that list

I think McCollum will still be good. And rivers. And a guy like Thomas Robinson.

That draft will go down as a good one in a few years

Only one in the draft I wanted was Oladipo. That guy could've been solid here. Also, thought we were going to draft MCW or McCollum had we not been trading the pick. Further, this past class is in-evaluatable because most of the top guys (Len, Porter, Noel, McCollum, etc.) haven't played that much at the present time. Jury's still out

All about opportunity and fit. I dont think some of those guys are good players in a vacuum, but get them in the right system in the right role and youve got something cooking

Its not a coincidence that teams like OKC, HOU, SAS consistently find players outside the lottery that help them win.

As it relates to the OP, there are some rumors out there that Embiid is strongly considering coming back for another year
