No, I said Carmelo is not a winner.

Neither or any of the guys I mentioned. They may not be winners, but they make up the 1st tier of NBA talent.

I haven't seen them quoted as saying they wouldn't play in NOLA. Did I miss that article?

The what was the point of clarifying Melo as not a winner when someone said he didn't want to come to NOLA?

Too bad half of your list don't believe the team that drafted them are destinations either. Howard soon to follow in the summer.

Good Ownership, management, and coaching are far more important than a high draft pick.

Jester, please, for the sake of this board

I agree that we have this BUT the NBA and it's players don't know this yet.

Really? In my job, I know what my competitors are doing, how they're pricing, the personnel they're bringing in, etc and I work in a huge industry. You don't think the rest of the NBA recognizes we have a great coach and GM?

Wow, I feel like I just stepped into a bar fight here......every man for himself right now. Did we all forget two important things?:

1. We own the lottery this year

2. Daniel Snyder is the bi#@! who made this happen.

I think we should find a cavs board and go trolling over there. Build up the comradery and humor between us again.

There's no argument in my point. Just to point out that having a coddled superstar can cripple you as much as they can make you.

Great is subjective and I don't agree that they're great. They headed in the right direction but they are far from great. They've accomplished very little and is still very early in their careers. they still have a lot to prove. They are still establishing themselves.

Please follow Jester out the door. You sound really dumb if you don't think Monty already appears to be a great coach. His teams fought their asses off for him, played incredible defense, never made excuses, etc. There are not many coaches who could have gotten this team to compete so hard with so little talent at times.

Like I said Great can be subjective. Your idea of great isn't the same as my idea of great.

Instead of attacking people, maybe you should clearly define why think they are great in the first place. I already stated my criteria for a great coach. No need to get defensive about it.
