People here suck. Because they flop? every team flops. Basketball players are professional liars.
The Spurs have been flopping like european soccer players for as long as I can remember. Not to mention they ended the best run we had in new orleans basketball history. They are dirty players. They are the patriots of basketball complete with their no personality leader.

The clippers are full of unlikable SOBs (Griffin/Barnes/Jordan). It's not CP3,it's the terrible bandwagoners+the flopping.
The spurs actually built a winner and have sustained it in a small market. It's something all should respect. I don't love the spurs but I respect what they've done.

He played 1 season before CP3 got there.
So if the ROY on a team no one cared about offended you so much, sure hate the clippers.
There isn't a million teams more hatable.

If you've payed attention the pels/clippers have somewhat of a rivalry(if you've watched the games)

Cleveland got tons of picks for lebron(it was a sign and trade)
Orlando got a ton of young talent for howard and picks.

Not only did Chris Paul bitch his way out of New Orleans, but he then tried to write his own little revisionist history of what happened by saying how hard it was to leave and how he cried when we traded him.
That and he's completely insufferable on the court nowadays.
I can understand appreciating what he did in his time here, because I do, but to still root for him after how things ended is just odd.
How anyone can hate David West is beyond me. He's probably the all-time favorite Hornet for most current fans.

So you agree with the guy who bitched his way out and quit on the team/ mailed it in, over a guy that always gave his all for the 9 years he was here?
He was coming off possibly a career threatning injury and you would've wanted the hornets to take that risk? The FO made the choice to let him go somewhere else out of respect.
We could've signed him to a deal if we wanted to but it was very risky.
It's worked out well for both parties in the end so your bitching rings hollow.

No owner, stilled owned by the NBA, and was going down in a rapidly SINKING ship.
West came off of an ACL injury and opted out of a 1 year deal for a long term deal. We never even extended him an offer on a long term deal which he wanted.
We were rebuilding, he chose to leave, didn't make a circus out of it, and played every game with everything he had til his end here which resulted in a big injury.
DW is 'the man' because he gave both teams he has played for great leadership and doesn't quit on his team. That is something you can't say about Paul.
You also question how come people here hate CP3 more than west?
West was not the face of our franchise. CP3 was.
That's like OKC losing Durant and Westbrook in the same fashion. Who would they hate more? Durant, why? one is THE face of a franchise, the other is a great 2nd fiddle.
but you know, be angry that some individuals don't like the clippers. If you paid attention in the one year griffin played there (you probably didn't because they played like shite still and had minimal air) and even though he was ROY, the flopping and bullshite complaints/attitude you see now, he was already doing it then.
you gotta be a control freak to get angry and riled up over someone's hatred for a certain team. sheesh
