Ask them this again after the AllStar break. By then they will have realized that AD is the most overhyped NBA player in recent memory.
Cant score on the block(fading away is not scoring on the block)
Not agile enough to take a 3 or 4 off the dribble consistently.
Cant shoot free throws even if he does try to score in the paint
The pelicans would be wise to trade him while is percieved value is high.

I'll admit to being wrong about his FT percentage. However that woild be the least of the issues I listed if it were correct.

Before the season started I was curious to see how he would respond. So far not so well. He's faced aggressive defense and countered with jump shots and fade always (passive offense).
