Bledsoe hit the wall pretty fast and is done. His primary talent (freak athleticism) just didn't age well. He lasted longer than most.

This is why I hate the contract structure of the NBA. So many guys have a decent year and get ridiculous long deals. Teams are stuck with albatross contacts they can't move. Owners are going to kill some of that in the next deal. There is a new day coming..

Which contracts are you talking about? The five guys with highest yearly contract have either been traded within last 2 seasons or teams would gladly trade for if player is committed to playing.

It’s not players fault if owner pays a player after only one decent year.
