Oh my

Just because you don't like Ingram doesn't mean he has no value. We could get a shite ton more than that for Brandon Ingram.

Don't agree with not trading him to the West.

If we're that concerned about BI coming back to beat us, then he's that good and we shouldn't trade him.

If you make a trade, you feel like you're getting the better of the deal, or you should. If that's the case, I don't see why you'd be worried about keeping him in the West. The entire reason you want to trade him will still be an issue for his new team.

The thing is, who has assets we would want in the west that would trade for him?

The west is absolutely stacked as is, and nobody in the bottom 3 (Spurs, Houston, Portland) are giving up anything for him because they want another high draft pick.

OKC is really the only other team we could look to that has assets we would want, but would they want BI on their team? I’m not to sure about that since it would likely cost them Chet or Giddy.

Lakers, Clippers, Wolves, Grizz, Denver, Dallas, Phoenix, GS, Sacto all either don’t have picks to add and/or don’t have players we would want or that they would be willing to give up.

Utah could be an outlier, but not sure they would give Lauri, and even if they would he will need a big extension this offseason.

The only answer would be OKC and SGA.

Other than that an interesting one would be Mathurin+ Miles Turner+ picks. Not sure how that whole trade would look.

Zach Lavine?

Cole Anthony, Franz Wagner + picks?

If we can keep Val and add one of a Markannen, Olynyk, Miles Turner that’s what is needed.

I’m not saying I necessarily want to trade BI. It’s pointless tho without either getting a knockdown 3pt threat, a long term center solution, and/ or 2 young guys that could fill both holes.

Personally I like Miami. You know they might be a bit desperate missing on so many guys. Herro would be a great fit with Zion. Add in the rc Jaquez and maybe Martin plus unprotected pick. With this offense, and if Zion stays healthy- huge if- I could see Herro and CJ being a crazy backcourt.

Houston does not own their 1st rounder outright for the next 3 seasons and made a clear effort to sign solid to good vets this past offseason (Fred VanVleet, Dillon Brooks, and they tried really hard to get Brook Lopez).

I don't want to trade BI...but if we did, Houston makes some sense.

It’s too 4 protected, so if they can bottom out at some point it’s great for them

They aren't trying to bottom out and with the flattened lottery odds top 4 protection is not as valuable as it used to be. They'll be trying to win games until it's too late imo
