As a rotational guy, that's not a big deal. We don't have issues with length. Our issue at the 4 is beef. Liddell was 240 coming into the league. Won't surprise me if 250 will be his ideal weight. If he boxes out, cover space, and rebounds. It doesn't matter if he's 6'6. Theres plenty of beefy short bigs in the league.

Again, as a rotational big, his skillet is something we can work with.

This is a problem on our roster outside of the frontcourt players (Zion, Nance, Val and Hernangomez). All of our players are too light and physically underdeveloped. We have all this height and length, but none of them have any bulk. We should be able to go with 1 big and 3 wings, but all of our wings are sub 200lbs. If any of those 4 guys (Ingram, Murphy, Jones and Daniels) could add some substantial muscle, that would solve a ton of problems. Otherwise you really can't play more than 2 of them at a time..

Getting a rotational 4 as a backup isn't an issue. He's already on the team. Liddell should provide that easily and they can add another one on the cheap.

So a guy drafted in the 2nd round who’s never played a minute and just had ACL injury is the answer? You can’t be serious.

Look I want Liddell to be a good player as well, but you go into this season assuming he’s not on the roster basically. You sure as shite can’t assume he’s an actual rotational piece.

Being a rotational piece behind Zion is giving you 10-15 minutes. That's basically Jaxson Hayes territory. And that doesn't even include one of the wings on the roster playing the 4 based on matchups.

Clearly the issue is when Zion gets injured those guys probably isn't reliable enough to man the position playing big minutes.

He’s a second round pick my man. And you’re assuming he can play in the nba as a rotational piece. That is never a safe assumption.

I also like Murray to the Pels @ 14, but a lot of draftniks don't seeing him as a low-ceiling role player and wanting the Pels (as always) to pick a young project player with more "upside." I like what Murray brings and he's ready to be a good bench piece from day one.

I also like P.J. but agree he's going to cost too much and don't think he'd agree to come off the bench. He'll start for someone.

If I wasn't clear the only way we could afford Collins is to trade away a veteran contract, like Jonas. He does a lot of good things and he's under utilized in Atlanta. he could benefit from a change in scenery whether in New Orleans or somewhere else.

I'll be interested to see what Liddell brings. He's pretty strong and a pretty good athlete with a plus wingspan. He provided some rim protection in college on the interior and reports out of Pels practice said his three point stroke looks good, but of course that's practice. Time will tell.

I would draft Trayce Jackson-Davis. He's projected to last until the end of the 1st round. Regardless, he's the guy im taking.

Size wise, If Zion (fat as hell) and Trey Murphy (skinny as hell) can play PF, so can Liddell

He’s the same height as a Grant Williams but with more girth, longer wing, and a lot more bounce. Better college rebounder and shot blocker as well

The front office has evaluated the backup 4 position and will re-evaluate in two weeks.
