ahhh...now i understand.
...i used to look at Hornets report more often and i remember seeing Harvey's name a lot...didn't necessarily have any bad experiences with him....at the time, seems like people were always talking about the sources he did or did not have and if they were legit or not.

They were well known for knocking a players character if they were traded or on their way out of town. Like they were all bad people or malcontents. They started that shite on MT saying he was bad kid and didn't want practice and all that bullshite.
The Tyson Chandler shite was the best though, I wish I had been around to see that bite them in the arse.

Some context: a thread quite similar to this one was on SaintsReport's Hornets section. A couple people said some crap about him. I said something to the effect that I didn't really agree with everything Harvey did but I didn't mind overall and that the dude should join the site. This wasn't even on HR.com. I don't remember exactly what I said or how I said it. All I know is I got these messages and started replying. Thought for sure I'd get banned.

Closest I've come to anything like that is recently on a thread on SR.com that got locked where I said there are some on other sites that don't think too fondly of you, in similar words. But it was to a person that was asking whether he should join this site or not. So I did what I always do when asked my opinion, be earnest with him.

The fact that you keep this site up is one of the reasons why I respect you. You do something I wouldn't have the stomach for and put up with a lot. I think you should keep this site up because it's a place for Hornets fans to come talk and socialize with other Hornets fans. Just because I might have personal gripes should change nothing of that.
And after 2 years and 3,000+ posts, I wouldn't be here if I didn't like the site. It's not something I tolerate because I have nothing else to do, no better alternative. I choose to "waste time" here because HornetsReport can be informative. I'm congregating with people that share my interests, and I can even have some fun from time to time. I find it worth my time.
If that's not a good enough answer, do what you need to do.

I didn't post there for a long time because I didn't like the vibe. It's gotten better. I'm not trying to encourage anyone to go over there, but if the concern is that it's `like it was', then it's worth seeing if it's different enough.
The other little boards there are essentially Hornets related, so there's not the odd board war there like there is for better or worse. They do some sim leagues, etc. for extra spice.
TD has more traffic and some great posters that only post here. VOR, ATL.

Yep, and if I recall correctly, he got to Hugh via Gerry V. Basically, HH started out driving Gerry V around and, quite possibly, giving him blow jobs when he first got to town.
