Hate when the rest of the NBA world catches up on "high basketball IQ" guys that LeBron boosts their potential.

Reaves was always a dog and always a great player.... knowing he can max out his potential and have a light shine on it by being on a team like the Lakers he invested in his game.... the kid had a great off season and knew he would contibute.

If most NBA guys or just basketball guys in general would accept their roles given and put forth the efforts to becoming a great basketball player at their role then they would all be rewarded by the basketball gods.

-Caruso
-Reaves...

Oof. The Magic had a chance to steal this game, and they let Austin Reaves score 30

dude has hade 13 and 18 free throw attempts in the last 3 games.

I cannot even remember the last time brandon Ingram had 13, probably last year.

And the refs are giving him the super star treatment. All he does is jump into the defender and the refs are giving him the call. Advantages of playing for the Lakers.

He may have a high BBIQ, but that is not why he is getting those ridiculous calls. Put him on the Pistons and see if he gets those calls.

To put things into a more insane perspective.

Last time LeBron put up 18 free throw attempts:
(2): 2014-2015

nearly a fricking decade

Austin Reaves getting the superstar whistle is fricking wild. No justifiable way that dude had 18 FT attempts

10 Suns FT attempts to 27 Lakers FT attempts in 1st half. Such a boring arse game to watch, Lakers get every single call

Reaves up to 30 free throws in past two games. Has Zion ever gotten that many calls?

Lakers are 24th in 3pt attempts, 1st in FT attempts, 3rd in FGA at the rim (0-4), 25th (5-9)

To compare: Houston & OKC are 1 and 2 at the rim
Houston is T-5th in FTA
OKC is 19th in FTA

Before you think oh well they get a lot of offensive rebounds. Wrong 20th
- Houston is 1st
- OKC is 8th

They also foul the 2nd least (LOL)

They're also 13th in FGA overall
- Houston is 14th
- OKC is 1st

Wanna see amazing, play with LAL and you foul less!

DLo PF 2.2 with minnesota; 1.5 with LA Lakers
Schroder PF 2.5 with Houston & Boston (last year); 2.2 with LAL (playing MORE minutes)
Walker 1.4 with SAS; 1.3 with LAL
Hachimura 1.3 with Washington; 0.8 with LAL
Vanderbilt 2.6 with Utah; 2.3 with LAL

Bryant 1.9 with LAL; 1.5 with Denver (half the minutes)
Westbrook PF 2.3 with LAL; 2.5 with LAC
Bev PF 2.8 with LAL; 3.6 with Chi (3 more minutes per game)

Beasley is the same 1.4
Nunn is about the same 0.9 to 0.8

bias is involved; you better believe it

The crazy thing is he’s at 41 FTs in the last 3 games. Put this dude on the Jazz and he’s got 6 tops

13 FT attempts for all star Austin Reaves, they touch that man and the refs have to intervene
