Wrecking Ball lyrics by Miley Cyrus seems give the metaphor to wrong person

never post here, but just heard this song for the first time and I don't understand why she corus is:

Seems like he would be the wrecking ball. Something like:

I don't think the point of the song was the lyrics. Just something catchy to get stuck in peoples' heads

Sounds to me like she fell for him but he never loved her back. She tried to break down his walls but couldn't and in the end, she was the one that got wrecked.

Damn, you are either trolling or are just dumb. The lyrics clearly say that she came in "like" a wrecking ball. She got wrecked. She's not saying she's a wre...Why the hell am I arguing about Miley Cyrus.
