Trillhog, you win the Internet! Drake is fricking awful. Brilliant marketing campaign for him though. Amazing what sheeple will listen. I will also add Lil Wayne post Carter II.

i remember when drake was coming out, all the hype, i was thinking, finally a new rapper i can get into, i bought his album and literally couldn't listen to one song, awful

lil waynes music is not holding up either, i listen to it now and it's almost comical.

I think Yelawolf(?) sucks. May be more so his appearance and song content that I don't like though.

Aside from him, I agree with most, 1)New Lil' Wayne and 2) Pitbull. I don't mind Drake.

Back to the Drake thing. He is just pathetic. You peddle Sprite on tv (marginally better than Dr. Pepper Pitbull). You come off sounding like a whiny douche in your rap/r&b songs. You are a Candian child actor. JUST STOP! The sprite thing really puzzles me. Pitbull needs all the attention and media coverage he can muster. Drake who is supposedly a well respected artist is already sinking to sprite ads is just sad. Leave that to old washed has beens like Dr. Dre ludacris and Pitbull.

I don't think he is "sinking" to certain ads. I'm sure they are paying him a shite-frick-ton of money, I'd do the same. What's you take on Cee-lo peddling 7-up? Or Elton John and Pepsi? Or any of the massively popular recording artists that have represented Coke/Pepsi? It's just business, we all work to make money.

i'm with you 100%, it's a joke. i really blows me away how he's been as popular as he is, he's the nickleback of rap. "last name greatest, first name forever"

yeah but c-lo is c-lo, my dad knows c-lo, he's not out there trying to be whatever it is that drake is trying to be. i liked c-lo back in the goodie mob, and the crazy song is catchy, but he's pretty lame too. and as far as elton john that's just a different deal than the rap game, if your a hot rapper you don't need to be selling f*cking sprite, sell beer at least
