You got it, I think Takin' Care o' Bidness was the biggest of the three.
A working man's, meat and potatoes, cheap beer Guess Who that was wildly successful for a time there.

They were the remainder of The Guess Who after Burton Cummings left that band. Seemed to go in a different direction.

Different style, but if your saying that the comparison is based on how they rank among Canadian bands, then yes, I'd say that is a fair assessment. They are my 3rd favorite band from Canada after The Band and Rush.

"You Ain't Seen Nuthin' Yet" went to #1
Aside from that classic, IMHO they were an unremarkable hard rock act. Definitely inferior to the Guess Who.

THey played at the Tiger back when I was working there. Had to call themselves BTO, couldn't use the full name. $5 cover and hardly anyone showed because no one believed it was really them.
