you know, sometimes, when the store is really noisy,and the music is turned down low, you're walking around, and just hearing a certain part of a song that stands out, it can be awesome.

At one time, I had a collection of all the Weather Channel music saved on my hard drive. Some autistic weirdo apparently converted them all to mp3s and I somehow ended up with gigs worth of that sweet smooth jazz from my 90s childhood.
I can't find the files, but if you Google around there are Spotify playlists etc. They're nice to have on in the background while working sometimes.

I like the "classic" jazz genre known as "West Coast" and "Cool" Jazz. Chet Baker kind of stuff. Miles Davis "Kind of Blue", that style. Wes Montgomery, John Coltrane, Ornette Coleman.
