All of the originals are six feet under. You are going to see a cover band.

Rudy Sarzo is the only one left from the "Classic" Metal Health Lineup & he isn't technically an original member. Jizzy Pearl is singing for them now. Enjoy.

I saw Frankie Banali's last gig at The Whisky a few years ago. This was before Rudy rejoined. I thought they sounded great and really enjoyed the show. No one can really replace Kevin but Jizzy does a great job. I would love to see them with Rudy. Thunderbird has even more meaning every year.

I can understand this. Alex does a great job. QR sounded great when I saw them. It would be great if Carlos were there, even if they had 2 guitarists. But truth be told, I think I'd like to see Carlos back in Ratt (Warren too, of course). I believe had Warren and Carlos been in Ratt and Stephen had himself straightened out, they would have been on that Def Lep/Motley/Poison stadium tour.

I mean yeah you’re not getting bands in their prime lineup coming all the way out to Newfoundland all too often so you take what you can get

I rolled up about half way through Great White and they were a bit of a snooze fest but Quiet Riot blew the roof off the place

No that’s way out on the other side of the island. Plan to make it out that way at some point. Haven’t really had the chance to venture too far out of St John’s yet though

You should. In the meantime, I'm sure you're up to your eyeballs in screech...

I saw The Guess Who at one of the Gulf Coast casinos about 4 years ago.

The only original member of The Guess Who was their drummer. I kept looking at the bass player who was wearing all black and had long hair, and it dawned on me—that’s Rudy Sarzo!

I checked the inter webs, and sure enough, he was touring with The Guess Who!

I mean what do you think we did after the show

It’s such a fun drinking town here

I work in the oilfield up here. I still live in Louisiana but I spend a ton of time in St John’s

Yeah they’ve definitely run though some lineups but I will say Jizzy sounded great. I was also pretty drunk so that might have helped

A few years ago there was a documentary about the band directed by Frankie's wife called "Quiet Riot: Well Now You're Here, There's No Way Back". It documents all the singers they went through after Kevin died. At the end Frankie goes through the list of off the people in the band. It's kinda funny.

If you watch the doc, it shows them barely limping along. I think the band today is is FAR better shape today.

I work with a NewfoundLANDer. He's hilarious. I've been up there one time myself - took the ferry from Nova Scotia. We went iceberg hunting on the north side. They have apps that track them!

Yeah it’s serious business tracking them up there for offshore drilling. You have to GTFO and move the rig if one starts coming at you
