And a takemine acoustic guitar.

Just snagged the maestro off of eBay for cheap.. Never heard of them before, but it's a great bass. Surprisingly enough. Japanese bass.

when i was younger i started playing acoustic guitar. i was learning with a friend. he learned a little faster than i did and it was frustrating. he's been the best guitarist i know for 15+ years.

i really want to get back into that and learn to play the fiddle as well.

See my sig for my goto electric (American Deluxe)

I also like to play my Les Paul Studio and Martin DC16GTE.

Started on drums, then picked up guitar, then picked up bass. Want to learn something off the wall...like the fiddle. Went to Nashville and saw a lot of fiddle players (females...hot).

I've been playing the Geddy Lee Jazz Bass for about 5 years now. Don't feel the need to get another one I love this one so much. If I do buy one it's going to have to be a 5 string. No need for another 4 string

I used to be able to pick my way through 2 or 3 songs. Probably can't play a G anymore.

I have the Ernie ball music man shown above in the OP and I bought the maestro for $200 off of eBay as a back up. It's a semi hollow body too so it's a different feel and tone for sure.

I've had a 5 string before. Meh. Didn't care for it.

Wal's are great.

I want a rickenbacker bass, but don't want to drop 1,500 or more on one.

I have a 4 string Sterling. Got it about 2 years ago. No need to change, I love it.

Oh yeah, I had an itch to buy one last year but didn't pull the trigger for the same reason as you.

Anyone play a P Bass?? I don't know why but I have a strange urge to get one. Would my MM Sterling blow it away?

I used to play a P and a J bass.

MM blows both away IMO.

I have flatwounds on mine and use a tech 21 sansamp. Can't beat it.
