I’ve heard the same thing about people that have been to one of his shows.

I saw him at The Varsity a few years ago.

Came on stage sang two of his best songs out the gate then played covers the rest of the night. I didn't pay money to listen to him play covers of George Straight. I wanted to hear his music.

We left before it ended so he might have played a few more of his songs, I'm not sure, but I was pretty disappointed even though he sounded great live.

Jamey Johnson

Frankly, it's the personal hell in which he must live for having a hand in writing and unleashing upon us the noise known as "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk."

I have been to multiple shows as I always enjoy the limited music he has put out to this point.

Over time, his level of being a dick has increased as his show price went up and the quality of performance and song selection went down. We don’t go to his shows anymore.

He seems quite miserable.

This. And booger sugar. Completely unreliable. Not as wholesome as the others.

I had heard that he had a falling out with his current label and wasn’t making anymore music until they let him out his contract. Don’t remember where I heard it or how reliable the source was.

I wouldn't want to hear all covers either, but if he spins them like this one I wouldn't walk out either.

Jamey Johnson's on my bucket list and if he's an a-hole to the audience, so be it.
