That song has to be Top 3 of his catalogue. The vocals there are incredible. Elton John once said that he was jealous (in a good way) of that song and that is the perfect pop song.

I was actually a fan, saw him three times from 81 through 84.

I attempted to stay a fan while he put out crap like Parade, Sign o the times, and Lovesexy, but it was all garbage. By the time he got to Graffiti Bridge it was embarrassing.

Ha! My wife and I were hanging out with some friends, a gay couple that are certified ballers.....house in Palm Springs, London and Amsterdam. They are very well connected in that upper crust.... gay world so I thought there was a chance....to meet George. Like I said, George's bf showed up who is a well known art dealer in Dallas.
