Kudos. I had no idea this wasn´t a Blondie tune. Funny how little time transpired between their writing and recording this, and then giving it to Blondie to possibly score some cash (Parallel Lines is the album they put it on, and they weren´t a household name then).

I vividly remember this album when it was released. The Sweater Song reminded me of listening to inane 3 am party conversations of drunk teenagers from the house next to mine on too many nights when I lived in Southern California.
