The Train and REO Speedwagon show scheduled for Sunday at the Woodlands Pavilion has been canceled. The announcement was made late Saturday night.

A statement from the Woodlands Pavilion cited "voice concerns for one of the band members." A quick search found that it was Train lead singer Pat Monahan.

"Houston & Dallas, I've unfortunately come down with something that has taken my voice away, and we have to cancel these shows. We were really looking forward to playing for you and nothing feels worse than canceling a show, but we’ll make it up to you soon," he wrote on Instagram Stories.

"The road trip will resume on Wednesday in Denver, and we'll be back in Texas before you know it."

Tickets purchased through Ticketmaster or the Pavilion box office will be refunded automatically. If you purchased through a secondary market, contact them directly for a refund. Due to the large volume of refunds, it could take up to 30 days for all of them to process.

The tour is an odd pairing for bands that come from different generations. But both have said they wanted to try something different and are fans of each other's work.

They played at The Wharf in Orange Beach Saturday. He struggled to get through the concert. Felt bad for him. He sang the hit songs as best he could.

Is the concern with his voice, is that it sucks?

Saw that concert in Tampa and it was way better than I was expecting. Both REO and Train were excellent as was the warm up band. A 70's tribute band
