My gf got me Red Hot Chili Peppers - Stadium Arcadium on vinyl for Christmas. It sounds amazing.

I'd give anything for such a landmark. My parents raised me on Cat Stevens, Jim Croce, Gordon Lightfoot, James Taylor, etc. but they lost all their originals in Hurricane Andrew.

Vinyls are fricking awesome. Like someone said, the artwork of the cover is also really cool. In college my entire wall in my apartment was covered in old vinyl record covers.

My dad was a DJ and ran a station for a little bit in the 70s and said he had like 8,000 records that he "lost" really wish he still had them.

probably a sketchy story
