I can tell. I did, after all, start it. Anyway none of Zappa's '67 releases come close to sniffing the top 10.

Never been a fan of The Who and I really tried to like it. The Doors, on the other hand, heavily influenced my musical taste today.

Mom hung out with those guys in Lancaster, CA (she was from Palmdale). Absolutely Free is a decent album, but Hot Rats (two years later in 69) is my favorite. 70s Zappa is great, but those 4 (5-ish) albums from the 60s lay the groundwork for what would be some amazing music.

Then, Safe as Milk was 67 - not up for top-10 honors. I'd put Absolutely Free on that list, though. Duke of Prunes!

I have different taste than most. I wouldn't put The Beatles on any top 10. I'm not going to question anyone else for doing it, though.
