Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers are heading out for a 40th anniversary tour in 2017. Closest he is playing to BR is at the Mitchell Pavilion in Houston. Tickets go on sale to general public tomorrow morning, but I was able to use a presale code and get 2 to that show plus 2 to a show at Wrigley Field this summer.
These guys are legit rockers, and they do a great live show. Just wanted to pass the info along.

He's playing in Little Rock and Memphis but not New Orleans...makes sense.

Yeah Joe Walsh will be a solid opener. I expect him to come out for a few songs with Petty & the HB's.

Looking forward to the Atlanta show. He plays Wrigley the night before Dead & Company. I guess I'll have to go to that show as well

Was fortunate enough to get tickets in the waiting room. Section 429, Row 1 AND on the aisle. Super excited about these tickets. Got 4 tickets and debating on selling the other 2 that I don't need to pay for dead & company tickets for the following night. Helluva weekend for sure planned!
