There last show at the Spanish Moon was kind of boring and the new single isn't very good. I have low expectations for this show.

No, those ticket prices are outrageous. I'm not a huge Papa Roach fan, but if the tickets were like $15-20 and I had nothing else better to do that night, I would go. $70+ is insane.

I have seen them on every tour since Gods of the Earth & the High Country album & tour was just a let down to me since they changed their sound. I don't like the new song that much so hopefully the rest of the new album will go back to why we all love them.

I noticed they are skipping Dallas while hitting Austin, Houston, & Baton Rouge this spring. When they came to Dallas last year, they had a co-headlining one off show with Zakk Sabbath(Zakk Wylde & his band doing nothing but Sabbath covers-it was insane) at Gas Monkey Live which is a nice sized venue. Zakk played first & literally 3/4 of the crowd left after Zakk Sabbath. The merch lines were 75 people deep for Zakk & no lines for the Sword merch. I was just in shock & really felt bad the The Sword as there just weren't that many people left to see them.

I have seen them 7 times at the Spanish Moon here in Baton Rouge (capacity about 300) and they have never sold it out. I think they can sell out One Eyed Jack's in New Orleans, which is slightly bigger, but they mostly draw 200-300 people. They just never got as popular as some people thought they would.

All of this.

Gosh that new single is bad. I'll still buy the album and go see them, but damn I hope they start jamming again or at least record more in C standard tuning. LOL
