I get that Shaw comes across as a douche, but I don't get the hate. According to a stat I just made up, 95% of all front men come across as douches. Once, the Revivalists got national attention the hate on this board tripled. Their music takes a hot and steamy shite on pretty much anything on the radio. Is it the cool thing to hate on local music once they get popular nationwide and did some of you guys get cucked by Shaw?

This is basically unanimous on this board.
I, for one, disagree. I've enjoyed the show and his performance each of the few times I've seen them.
Their last album was one of my favorite releases from 2015, and I still play it regularly. I'll definitely be seeing them in ATX later this spring.

I've seen alot of music and usually will jam to just about anything.
I saw the Revivalists for a NYE show in Nola a few years back and couldn't help but sit down the entire time.
