Definitely go. They are phenomenal. Who's opening for them?

They are good live. Lead has bad rap for being a tool

The band itself is solid. The lead singer is the douche to end all douches and ruins any goodwill the band provides. Net negative. Would not attend

Skip it. David Shaw needs to go away already.

Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds are on right now. We are hanging around for the Revivalists.

Sister Sparrow is legit. Nice little crowd down here.

I feel like he acts like he is Robert Plant but isn't quite able to back it up.

From what I understand, he's been posting under his alter account, Sneaky_Sally, since July 2015.

In 09 or so, I had an opportunity to interview the Revivalists for a magazine I worked for. Long story short, I passed up the interview assignment because I didnt really like the vibe of the band....largely because of the lead singer. Fast forward to now, and they are all over the jam circuit/festival scene, and, to some, are the new "it" band. Not for me. Now Shaw has a Sideshow Bob haircut to go along with a Skeletor face, fake funky Nola accent and flaming douche persona... I wouldn't walk across the street to watch them play for free. When Stef Scarmado began managing them, Jam On began shoving them down throats and promoting them all over the place, making sure they toured with Gov't Mule, etc. I look forward to the day of their inevitable breakup from the front man receiving too much attention over the other (more talented) members of the band.

Speaking of Gov't Mule, i saw them play here in New Orleans when the Revivalists open for them. So towards the end of the tour closing show, maybe the encore, Warren gets up and invites all of the revivalists on stage. They get up there and are about to start and Shaw goes "hold on" and proceeds to rip his shirt off to get ready for the song. The look on the face of some of the members of Mule was pretty priceless.
