So many great artists on there. Even though Diamond was out of place, the song he did is good

The Band were so talented and had such a following that it made that film such a huge hit. I remember my Dad showing me the film some years back and I was such in awe of the number of stars who appeared and performed. I still love The Weight and The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down. I’m a Gen X guy but I know quality and talent when I see it. It’s a classic and I have such an appreciation for that caliber of songwriting and musical talent. I wish I would have been old enough to be there!

I I watched it again. Always a treat. Joni Mitchell has to be the coldest singer songwriter ever. An emotional robot.
