The Ides of March are anything but a one hit wonder. They evolved into Survivor in the 1980s. And like many 80s bands that started in the 60s and 70s their sound evolved too, from vibrant brassy hard rock, to inoffensive pop-rock, inevitably to insipid bubblegum pabulum.

Wooden Ships/Dharma For One

Saw them twice live. 3 horns sounded like a whole orchestra. Outstanding show.

I liked that tune.

Every horn band in Louisiana learned and played that one.
