For my Prog heads in here, Steven Wilson (and Tim Bowness) have started a new podcast. Each episode they discuss great albums that came out in specific years. Available wherever you get your podcasts, but for any classic rock/prog fans, this is sure to please.

Spotify Link for Episode 1

Also, if you're reading this and ask yourself "Who the hell is Steven Wilson/Porcupine Tree?" Do yourself a favor and dig into their massive and brilliant catalog.

I love Steven Wilson. Easily my top "music man crush". He passed Andrew Bird a few years ago on my man love list.

There are weeks where all I listen to are his stuff: PT, solo stuff, no man, blackfield, etc.

Also, check out all the YES shite he remastered.

Dude is like Prince in terms of just how much new, great music he puts out so consistently. Seems like every year he has an album of some sort and another side project.

I am kind of reluctant to listen. Steven has become fairly adversarial about Porcupine Tree lately. He still puts on a hell of a show, but he's become kind of personally off-putting. I say this as a fan of almost 20 years.

He’s always been very punchable imo. Despite the music he puts out.
