The Afghan Whigs Release New Singles, Tour

One of two new singles, “I’ll Make You See God”. Sounds like a return to their early Up In It days. I didn’t post the second new single, “The Getaway” because, frankly, it’s horrible.
Looks like Dulli is rounding up the old gang as well. I see that Marcy Mays has returned.

I fluctuate between AW “Gentlemen” and Interpol “TOTBL” as my favorite album of all time. They are always 1-2. That being said, I don’t like either of these new songs.

Hell yes. I just scooped up my tickets. Do the Beast is one of my favorite records of all time.

Gentlemen is easily their most critically praised, but Black Love will always be their masterpiece to me.

I really like Black Love, too, it just doesn’t hit me the way Gentlemen does. 1965 is grossly overlooked.
