I'll bet any amount of money I know more about this particular art than you, and she is a talented girl. She's a good songwriter, good singer and decent guitar player. She is in no way tone deaf, and if you link me to some 'without the music' recording of just her vocal tracks I'm going to laugh at you because there's plenty that could be wrong with that video. I don't even like her that much but you can't say she doesn't have talent. I'm done defending Taylor swift.

Taylor Swift singing Rhiannon was so bad. I felt bad for her.
Also, I felt equally as bad for Stevie who had to suffer through Taylor butchering the song with her. Someone commented that "it was almost like Taylor did a "Make a Wish" thing and Stevie had to do this with her."

Anyone describing this as generic pop music has lost touch. This samples Peaches and Right Said Fred. That is anything but generic pop. The voicemail that plays is absolutely cringe-worthy and I actually get embarrassed for her when I listen to it. I am also over her playing the victim all the time. It is getting old and she is clearly one of those girls who absolutely loves drama but wants to take no responsibility for any of it. At least she has made a fortune out of it.

Most pop artists are what they are and I get it when a song has the catchy melody to be a hit.
But I don't get Swift at all... in addition to her songs not being particularly catchy, the lyrics are utter dogshit, and her voice isn't very impressive. I also don't understand why people find her especially attractive (within the context of being a celebrity). She and Alex Morgan are the most overrated women on this site.

I have a 6 year old daughter...we jam this song pretty regularly. I also don't get the hate for her or this song...
