Taylor acoustic neck shims

My 2003 needs a neck reset. Taylor has a shim system that makes this really simple. My problem is I can't get Taylor to sell me any of the shims. Anyone know of a method that I could acquire these? I'd prefer to do the work myself and have the full pack of shims for future neck resets.

Check with stewmack
That guitar has a bolt on neck, right? Couldn't you just add thin flat material behind the original shims? I've never messed with a taylor, but it seems like it should be simple to do, from what I have seen.
Have you tried everything else? adjusted the truss rod? sanded the saddle?

And if not... maybe Luthiers Mercantile International.
It's good to have both in the knowledge base.
eta: ever seen one done - there's a couple extra steps without a shim

Those shims are proprietary and only available to Taylor authorized warranty and service centers I believe. Call Tim Lawson at Tim's Guitar Workshop in Baton Rouge and see if he can help you out.
