she's phenominal. my favorite female singer. i think she sounds better live than on tape.
a few years ago she played jazzfest. i haven't seen many crowds respond the way they did when she did that song. she definately had the audience in the palm of her hand. her band is outstanding as well.

their talents mesh very well. i hope they continue making records together. i like her solo material. while trucks is a fantastic player, i'm not crazy about the derek trucks band's music.
but there aren't many recent releases as good as this.
