I've never listened or not listened to an artist based on their political stances. I expect entertainers to be generally liberal. It comes with the environment. Love BB King and Ray Charles and I'm pretty sure neither was my kind of conservative.
I don't line up with Isbell at all but love his music. Same with Sturgill. It's not an either/or, and I give very little weight to their opinions. If they put a nice beat to it, I'll listen though.
