I'm not sure how this cat is viewed by fellow comedians or by music fans. I'm bringing discussion on him because I think his songwriting is killer comedy. I think he is drastically under-appreciated.

He's got a new album coming out soon.
And I used to cover him all the time when I played out.
I love that his songs all start off as you would expect a normal song to start off, then take a complete 180.

I saw him open for Mitch Hedberg. Hedberg was obviously high and disoriented, and put forth a rambling and incoherent show. Lynch came out and did the encore and sent us all home happy. He saved the night.
Been a huge fan ever since. He turned a hostile crowd into a fun one, all singing along to Special Olympics.
