Who is your favorite?
Weird Al? Stephen Lynch? Flight of the Concords? Bo Burnham? Rodney?
I think it is hard to beat Weird Al as far as lifetime acheivement. Stephen Lynch is my favorite though.

Stephen Lynch. His songs, Special Olympics and Special Ed and Gay are all epic. Plus he is damn talented. Tore up Broadway.

Demetri Martin isn't really a singer with it, but he is a much better comedian than Lynch. Plays guitar while telling jokes. Flight of the Conchords are excellent as well.

I think D&D is hilarious, as well as She Got A Smile
His songs with Mark Tyke(sp?) are probably my favorites.
I first saw him on Comedy Central for like 5 minutes on Premium Blend. Shortly after that they gave him a special.

I find Lynch funny. He actually is a decent singer as well. Just like Demetri Martin much more. Demetri Martin

I knew I was leaving someone off my list of examples.
Good thing about them is the solid mix between comedy and music. As in they don't mostly tell jokes, or mostly play music, it is a lot of both

They actually can write some pretty good music imo. Them at Sloss Furnace back in 2000 or 2001 was one of the better concerts I've been to in my life.

If you count Tenacious D, it isnt a contest but i dont consider them stand up comedy singers. I consider them damn good musicians. KG might be one of the most underrated guitarists ever IMO. They make awesome music and have awesome songs. A far cry from everyone else on this list. No doubt.
