Spoon never disappoints

I listened to Hot Thoughts a few times earlier today. It doesn't disappoint. This got me thinking that literally ALL of Spoon's albums -- in my humble opinion -- are solid from start to finish.
I can't put them in the hyper hyper elite category of bands because maybe they lack that sixth gear that other great bands/acts have...those songs albums that leave you with full-body eargasms dripping all over the floor. BUT...I think there is something to be said for a band that has put out nothing be very very good material.
Not only has Spoon never put out a bad album, but they rarely even put out bad songs. I can make a playlist of every track from every album, and the number of songs I would skip over would be in the single digits.
What other bands can even approach this kind of kind of prolonged consistency? i can't think of any off the top of my head. Most bands let me down at some point. Spoon has to date never me let me down.

Agree; when I'm having soup or ice cream it's the GOAT

Seeing them in Knoxville in May, really stoked! Only seen them in a festival setting as of now.

I think they put out some solid music but none of there stuff really grabs me. I love a few singles, but most of their albums don't get repeat listens.
I probably like They Want My Soul the best.

Spoon live is awesome. They maintain consistency in most of their albums.

I swear every album they put out is an 8/10

Great album. Only track I skip is "Pink Up", which sounds like it was written while binge watching The X Files.

Is it a continuation of their last records? with all the electronic/dance oriented pop? If so, I'll probably pass... though I'm sure it has some catchy tunes...

It is different than their last album but still has that Spoon sound. I find it to be a tad spacey and experimental.
I think you would enjoy
