One by Metallica... stickiong with the 1980 and later time frame.the first song I remember hearing from them..turned on the radio and it was in mid song...had no idea who it was..the last few minutes had me head banging so hard i nearly got whiplash.

Also, I don't know what exactly you call this, but when this song changes keys at 2:52, it then just goes into a whirlwind of awesomeness. When I was a little kid and I would hear this song on MTV, I would sprint from wherever I was in the house to stand right next to the tv just absolutely mesmerized.
