I really don't see what the big deal is. I'm not saying I like it, but it doesn't seem much worse than the rest of the crap Nashville has been putting out for over a decade.
Also, I caught a song about Mary Kay and Mary Jane or whatever, which besides the stupid chorus, was actually pretty good. The singer totally had this Eddie Brickell thing going on for her.
What's the boards thoughts on "I drive your Truck"? that's alajones2 favorite new song.

I hate this stupid song. "Oh we live in a trailer park and it's just so hard being in a small town like this where there's no hope and no one can escape" blah blah.

She's like this is the way it really is-You're pregnant at 15 and don't graduate high school.

Now let's get outta this town, outta this club
Girl whatever you're sippin' I'ma mix it up
Take a few tick-tocks off of your clock
Put a little Third Rock in your hip-hop
I got that
Yeah, seems reasonable.

WhoTF decides that any of this Nashville pop is a hit?
That Mary had a little lamb shite is absolutely ridiculous...

Agreed. It's on OK song. Not a favorite or anything, but better than 98% of the other shite I hear played on country radio.

Solid song. In the same vein as If I Don't Make It Back by Tracy Lawrence.

It's even worse than a lot of it though. And that's saying something. It's up there with whatever that Tim McGraw song was a while back that was so belligerently terrible that even people that like that pop country couldn't stand it.
