Texas Club, Mud & Water gets some of that sick Red Dirt and I'm sure there is more considering the amount of swamp trash in the area. I don't listen to country and even I know where to go to hear it.

I listen to Alabama and Skynyrd but I don't consider them country. They are more of the angelic hymnal genre.

All country acts. All play Baton Rouge all the time. And Denton Hatcher, Ryan Harris and Ben Moore play the red star every Thursday night.

Country is probably Baton Rouges strongest scene
