No you didn't offend me. Just had to stand up for the boys from Texas.
It's all good. King's X, without college radio, would have never been heard by me until maybe around 1994 when they released Dogman.

My fav of the bigs would be the Police, as a kid I would've said Rush & had an elaborate bullet-point presentation ready. ZZ is right there too, with the earlier stuff anyway.
I don't think anybody mentioned Ben Folds Five yet, solid trio with good harmonies.
