Really good album. If you like that, I’d highly recommend Purple Mountains. It is one self titled album by the same guy just under a different moniker. Came out in 2019. Easily one of my favorite albums of the past few years.

Silver Jews and Purple Mountains are one of ...well David Berman is one of the the great American song writers. It's a shame more people don't know his work. I saw a guy at the bar tonight with a Purple Mountains T on and I talked to him for a while about David Berman's greatness.

All of his stuff is great. I was at the Silver Jews last show in the cave in McMinnville TN. A crew was filming it in 8mm. I really hope the footage gets released one day.

Berman was exceptional and such a talented writer. American Water is one of my favorites.

I kind of stumbled on them through a Radiohead, Smith’s, Talking Heads, then Radiohead wormhole….
Eventually got to this album. I loved it. Listened 2x now.
