A great music venue. Those I saw there were Scarlet Rivera (Bob Dylan's violinist) and her band and Richie Havens another night. The Kingfish had automatic drink dispensers which made some noise. Since Richie Havens was playing an acoustic set, he asked them to shut them off or he would end his show. They turned them off.

Just like The Kingfish: The Bayou, Spanish Moon, Chelsea’s, Papa Joes, and every other live venue will be taken for granted until 30 years later.
