I hate that this was my first thought, as well.
ETA: I asked this when I first heard Creed(probably "Higher") coming over a car radio - "Is that Pearl Jam?" - the response was, "No - if the guitar player from Pearl Jam heard you ask that, you'd probably have to fight him." -
