First time I've seen him live. Amazing performance, and I can't wait to see him again. I've been to a lot of concerts and have never seen that much weed.

A guy 2 rows in front of me passed out drunk and had to be rolled away in a wheel chair. It was Hot and humid as hell. It was at an outdoor venue that has a roof but is open on the sides. No airflow at all. I've watched tons of his live videos on youtube and it just doesn't do him justice. Go see him if you get a chance.

Hes like the bluegrass version of widespread panic at this point, which I'm sure he is cool with because he loves Panic lol

I disagree. They both play a relatively high percentage of covers, but Billy's songs are written much better IMO. Also, Widespread does not go as far into "Type II" jams.

With all that being said... I love Billy playing All Time Low. I still go back to the recording of them busting it out in Athens.

It's awesome to see him have such success. It gives me hope for the modern music industry. Anyone with integrity and a real gift (ie not the American Idol or bro country pop stuff everywhere) CAN make it. You don't need radio anymore. He was always a guy who popped up in my YouTube feeds as suggested videos for years, same with guys like Tyler Childers and Sturgill Simpson. Sundy Best played here a ton, opened for them a few times myself. Anyway, just seeing these guys as random bands or performers on YouTube with a few thousand likes locally to what they've become is awesome.

I think he’s the best guitarist I’ve seen in person.

Nope, St. Louis Music Park. It's a new venue that opened up last year. It's right down the road from Hollywood Casino Amphitheater though.
