Opinions? The music serves its time and purpose, but damn is it good on a low key, mellow night with an empty house and a bottle of red.

You're doing it wrong. Sade is perfect music for being very explicitly NOT alone and with that special someone you intend to play hide the boudin with.

From the moment I heard Stuart Matthewman's plaintive sax riff opening " Your Love is King" in 1983, I was hooked on Sade. Everything Sade does is magic. The voice. The music. The aura. Sultry. Smooth. Sexy. It's like a warm mug of hot chocolate with a shot of spiced rum. All top notch. If you don't like Sade, something is wrong with you.

Fun Fact:

The name of the band is Sade.

The name of the singer is Helen Folasade Adu. And I would swim a piss river, climb a shite mountain, and crawl over broken glass just to stand in her garbage to hear her fart over a walkie-talkie.

That is one sexy woman.

I love Sade.

Great musicians. Some freakin awesome bass work.

Everyone likes to just make it out to be sex music, but a lot of their stuff rocks, just not in the traditional way.

She is one of my top 5 favorite artist. My first date with my wife was to the Sade concert in NOLA a few years ago. Man I hope she tours again.

Guilty pleasure. I have three of her songs on my phone. I have nothing else remotely similar. People that know me hear them play and are quite shocked.

Yes, but the name comes from her name--kinda like saying the name of the band is Van Halen.

"Helen Folasade Adu, known professionally as Sade Adu"

She's still doin' it!
