The Ryman is my favorite venue. Front row balcony is the way to go. Sound is massive in there.

They don't call it The Mother Church for nothing. Amazing venue. The acoustics are incredible. Guaranteed to have a great time.

Friend of mine in Nashville has a ticket for me to that show if I want to drive up. I've always wanted to see a show at the Ryman.

I'm heading up there March 17 to see Gordon Lightfoot.

We saw Richard Thompson there about 6 years ago-just a great place to see a concert.

The acoustics are among the best you'll ever hear in any venue. Should be one hell of a show

I will be at that very show. Last saw Sturgill Simpson there in October. I've been both on the balcony and floor and it's been great every time.

Picture I took of my Dad at the Ryman. Over the years he played drums for many artists there. He always loved playing in that old building.

Our tickets for Thursday's show are On the Main Floor 3, Row G, Seats 5, 6, 7, 8.

My buddy has the tickets for Saturday. Not sure where those are at. Either way I'm sure it'll be a great experience.

That picture is very cool. You need to frame that and pass it down.

Thanks..... that was at soundcheck from his last show with Loretta Lynn, October of 2014. I framed it and gave it to him for Christmas that year.

No big deal, although I'm pretty proud of him. He grew up in Mangham, Louisiana and started playing drums when he was a kid. Rolled the dice and went to Nashville in 1972 and wound up making a living working for a long list of artist (Jody Miller, Nat Stuckey, Donna Fargo, Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Conway Twitty).

The funny thing is he was never a country drummer. He chose Nashville because it was closer to home than LA or NY.
